Second time’s the charm? Samsung finally resumes One UI 7 rollout, but don’t get too excited

Credit: Joe Maring / Android Authority Samsung has restarted the Android 15-based One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series. The rollout has begun in South Korea, and if all goes well, we expect wider availability in the coming weeks. However, concerns remain about a lock screen bug that was said to be the reason for stopping the rollout before, which is apparently present in this build too, when it was being beta tested. After months of anticipation, several rounds of beta, and one failed rollout plan, Samsung is rolling out Android 15-based One UI 7 again, bringing the latest update to users outside the Galaxy S25 series. The One UI 7 rollout has resumed, starting with the Galaxy S24 series. As spotted by Tarun Vats, Samsung is rolling out a new BYD9 build in its home region of South Korea.

6 reasons it might finally be time to give up on my 550+ day Duolingo streak

When I started using Duolingo to learn and practice foreign languages in February 2023, I never envisioned myself using the app daily. But recently, I hit my 550-day streak, meaning that I’ve used the app daily for 1.5 years. While I’m slightly impressed by the fact that I maintained my streak for so long, I have also been considering whether it’s time to give it up for a variety of reasons, including the fact that I no longer feel like it’s teaching me what I need to know. While I always considered Duolingo one of the best Android apps for language learning, my experience is making me doubt this.
